GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

COROCARB–58-PTA has an excellent resistance to wear and corrosion an a low friction coefficient. It is rust and acid durable, resistant to heavy abrasion and heat. It’s extreme hardness allows for excellent gliding on high tensile strength steels and plastics. COROCARB–58-PTA can be mixed with FTC fused tungsten carbide to provide maximum wear resistance.

*Applying on conveyor screws
*Wear rings, pump screws
*Scrapers for Brick Industry
*Guide rolls and fan blades, etc.

EIGENSCHAFTEN

Hohe Beständigkeit gegen abrasiven und gleitenden Verschleiß durch die in einer Ni–Cr–B–Si-Basis eingelagerten Wolframschmelzkarbide:

• hochverschleiß- und warmfest
• rost- und säurebeständig.

ANWENDUNGSGEBIETE

Gegen mechanischen und mineralischen Verschleiß höchst beanspruchter Bauteile, wie z.B.:

• des Maschinen– und chemischen Apparatebaus, Pumpen– und Mühlenbaus, Steinzeugindustrie, Kunststoff–Maschinenbaus (Extruder), Petrochemie
• Tiefbohrwerkzeuge, Baggerteile, Schrottpressen und andere Verschleißteile.
