CLASSIFICATION

DIN EN 14700
E Z Fe14

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Thickly coated AC- weldable high efficiency electrode with approx. 240 % recovery. The weld metal is of ledeburitic structure with an alloy containing carbide forming elements of different kinds. CORODUR E 61 is used for hardfacing of parts subject to strong abrasive wear, friction, heat and corrosion. Easy to weld electrode, soft fusion. The weld metal is almost free of slag. A buffer layer of CORODUR E 200 K is recommended prior to surfacing on old hardfacing layers.
